The Truckee River flows down from the Sierra Nevada Mountains and through the high desert of northern Nevada providing water for these thirsty mustangs. They drink as much as possible before moving along to find places to graze.  The skies over the desert release very little rainfall, so the wild horses must return again and again to the river to quench their thirst.

We also need to drink plenty of fresh water daily. But, there is another kind of craving that plain water cannot satisfy. The human soul longs for a relationship with the Creator. Jesus, the Son of God, can connect us with our Creator, our Father in heaven. Jesus can give us water that satisfies the soul, and it will become a spring within us that leads to eternal life.

How do you access this life-giving water? Ask Jesus to give you some of His water… the Holy Spirit. Move powerfully into your journey toward eternal life with prayer for MORE… more of God’s Spirit in your life, more love and faith, more of Jesus.

The water that I will give them will become in them a spring which will provide them with life-giving water and give them eternal life (Jesus quoted in John 4: 15, Good News Translation Bible).
