Life is not just what we see and experience with our five senses: sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell. Why do we turn around to see who is looking at us? We felt that stare. Dreams bring to life our inner thoughts to unveil mysteries from our unconscious mind, other times predict the future, and at times warn us of impending danger. There is the wonder of life and the beauty of creation, along with the ugliness of disease and the devastation of a violent storm to ponder. Why? What is life really about? What are the answers to all our questions?
My art shows an angel lighting the way in the darkness, through all the mysteries in life to reveal the wisdom of Jesus and unveil the resurrection power that He released when He rose from the dead. The torch the angel is holding represents Holy Spirit, who reveals the truth about God. The cross is the focus that represents the resurrection power of Jesus. This power is available to anyone who comes and is willing to surrender everything for the everlasting life found in Jesus.
Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me will live, even though they die; and those who live and believe in me will never die.” (John 11:26 GNT).
Jesus also said, “ I am telling you the truth: whoever obeys my teaching will never die.” (John 8:51 GNT).
I experienced an open vision of Jesus, saw the nail prints in his hands, and felt His love. This felt love was more powerful and more astounding than anything I could imagine. This experience transcended the natural world of the five senses; it came from the heavens clothed in the glory of God.
Jesus is God’s hidden mystery and the answer to all wisdom.
He (Jesus) is the key that opens all the hidden treasures of God’s wisdom and knowledge (Colossians 2:3 GNT).
Open up your heart to Jesus. Ask and you will receive the answer that will transform your life.

The Lord of glory laughs out loud,
The angels join and bow,
Our troubles lifted, trials shifted,
Lain down before the crown.
Excerpt from ”Worship” by Lula Adams
When I was a young Christian, I didn’t understand worship. I would join in the singing of songs, but I looked forward to the preaching of the Word of God . I loved to ask questions and study the Bible to gain knowledge. The more I gained intellectually, the more spiritual I thought of myself. I followed Jesus with my mind, and of course, I was careful to stay clear of sin. I actually forgot that before my focus shifted to Biblical knowledge, I believed in miracles. God responded to the cry of my heart and healed someone I loved of cancer. At that time, even before I saw the test results, I knew in my heart that my prayer was answered. But, after over 8 years of focusing only on Biblical knowledge, I not only forgot about miracles, but I began to feel very parched and dry. Something was missing in my walk with God. One night, I finally got to the point where I cried out to God with everything in me to know the truth about Him. I asked the question that burned in my heart, ”Do You move in supernatural power in the present day?”
God answered me that night with power that swept over my entire body in waves of electric energy that filled me with deep peace. How long did it last? I don’t know, but long enough to change my mind to include the supernatural aspect of my faith again and allow room for the gift of tongues. The best single word I can use to describe my experience with God’s power is ecstatic. I was filled with Holy Spirit power!
Everything about my walk with God turned upside down, or I should say, turned right side up. I still study the Word of God and love the Bible. But now, my spirit, body, and my soul (mind, will, and emotions) are involved, and I can soar into the joy of heaven during worship. Something supernatural happens to me in worship. I can sense God’s awesome presence and love in my heart. I often feel so much overwhelming joy in His presence that I laugh outloud.
Since God initially overwhelmed me with Holy Spirit power, I can feel waves of excitement move through me, sometimes with actual goose bumps. This happens often when I worship God, or sometimes when I just speak about Him, or receive revelation as I study the Bible. Worship blesses me and lifts me up so much that I often feel like I must be in heaven. When I find myself struggling with the issues of life, praise and worship will usher in God’s joy, peace, and fresh hope.
I know miracles happen today. I have seen them happen in my life and in other people’ lives, even more since this experience many years ago. Jesus is alive, awesome, and wonderful… the same yesterday and today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). He is worthy of worship. Jesus is supernatural.
I think worship is the best part of fellowship!
Forever we do stand and sing
Forever is today,
Forever is not far away,
We stand and sing.

If you don’t already experience God’s presence during worship, ask. Cry out to him for MORE. Seek the truth with all your heart. He is very close, waiting for you to seek more of the truth. Jesus is the truth, the way and the life.
My picture is called Sanctification. It shows the Holy Spirit piercing the heart and moving upon a believer with transforming power.
